This Privacy Policy explains how AADANT28 (“AADANT28”, “we”) collects, uses and protects personal data when restaurants use our software and when their guests order through it. It is written in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Data we collect
From restaurant owners and staff:
- Name, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Restaurant details such as name, address, GST number and menu.
- For AADANT28 Payments: business, PAN and bank account details, which are sent to Razorpay for verification. We store only the last four digits of your bank account number.
- Razorpay API keys you enter, stored in encrypted form.
From restaurant guests:
- Name and mobile number entered while ordering.
- Order details: items, amounts, table and time.
Automatically: a login cookie to keep you signed in, and basic technical logs such as IP address used to prevent abuse.
2. How we use data
- To run the Service: take orders, send them to the kitchen, create bills and show order status.
- To process subscription payments and restaurant payments through Razorpay.
- To send order notifications you turn on.
- To secure the Service and prevent fraud and spam orders.
- To contact you about your account, billing or important changes.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use guest data for our own marketing.
3. Guest data and restaurants
Guest names and phone numbers are collected on behalf of the restaurant where the guest orders, and are visible only to that restaurant's staff. The restaurant decides how to use them and is responsible for doing so lawfully.
4. Sharing
- Razorpay — to process payments and verify linked bank accounts.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to store and serve data securely.
- Authorities — when required by law.
We do not store card or UPI PIN details; these are handled entirely by Razorpay or the guest's UPI app.
5. Security
Passwords are hashed, payment keys are encrypted, connections use HTTPS, and each restaurant can only access its own data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
6. Retention
We keep account and order data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your account and data; some records may be retained where the law requires.
7. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing support@aadant28.in. Guests may contact the restaurant or us.
8. Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version.
